About the Role

As a Fabrication and Final Ops Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing operations. You'll lead a team of skilled fabricators, TAs and Painters, driving productivity and quality while fostering a safe and collaborative work environment. As the Fabrication and Final Ops Team Leader you can expect your day-to-day tasks to include but not limited to:

  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality control.

Elphinstone Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled and dynamic IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining, optimising, and securing our IT systems whilst providing services and support to end users.

As an IT Infrastructure Specialist, you can expect your day-to-day tasks to include but not limited to:

  • Provide expert technical guidance on the installation and administration of IT infrastructure components, including phones, computers, servers, storage, LAN, WAN communications, backups, IT security, and Microsoft Office 365 Administration.
  • Continually update internal IT documentation and user guides for accurate and accessible information.

About Our Teams

Electrical (Harnesses) Wynyard

Our Electrical Harness Solutions team produces cable assemblies and components for use within various vehicles, including Underground and Surface Mobile Equipment and the Agriculture industry. The team produces over 1500 variants and over 15,000 pieces annually for all existing customers with high on-time delivery performance. Our Warehouse Storeperson will report to the Electrical Operations Supervisor and be a part of our Wynyard team.

Yellow Iron South Burnie

The Yellow Iron warehousing team is based in South Burnie and is responsible for the handling of the underground mining support vehicle components. Our Warehouse Storeperson will report to the Warehouse Team Leader.

About the Role

Elphinstone Pty Ltd is searching for Warehouse Storepersons to join our growing team. As part of the Elphinstone Warehousing function, you will maintain accurate stock levels of quality parts.

As a Warehouse Storeperson, you can expect your day-to-day tasks to include but are not limited to:

  • Accurately picking and packing parts
  • Ensure fast follow-up on all client enquiries and delivery.
  • Identify and assist potential issues that can affect deliveries.
  • Inspection and maintenance of stock levels
  • Maintaining communication to all company departments
  • Receiving and dispatching stock

About You

You will have a keen eye for attention to detail and quality. You can develop and maintain strong positive customer relationships (internal & external). You will be able to adapt to changing work priorities and locations whilst remaining calm and organised. You will display high motivation and drive and use your initiative to ensure smooth operations.

The experience and skillset suited to this role may include:

  • Ability to multi-task with different priorities within agreed timeframes.
  • A current forklift license is essential.

  • Background in logistics, warehousing or mechanical trade is desirable.

About the Role

Elphinstone Pty Ltd is seeking an Operations Supervisor to join our well-established team. As the Electrical Operations Supervisor, you will lead, coach, and develop personnel involved in harness manufacture to ensure each contributes effectively to the team's achievement of department goals and objectives.

As the Electrical Operations Supervisor, you can expect your day-to-day tasks to include but not limited to:

  • Manage the allocation of work to personnel and develop shift rosters with the manager to ensure delivery targets exceed customer expectations.
  • Develop and maintain systems to control the build process. e.g. Build procedures
  • Review the schedule daily and liaise with electrical planners to confirm daily delivery requirements.
  • Liaise with Leading Hands daily to ensure the broader team understands and can meet the required delivery schedule.
  • Communicate any potential roadblocks that affect deliveries.
  • Optimise employee workflow

About You

About the Role

Elphinstone Pty Ltd is searching for a Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor to join our growing team. The role has become vacant due to internal movements. As part of the Elphinstone Warehousing team, you will oversee the general operations of the warehouse and its staff. You will assist the team in successfully meeting safety requirements and quality levels and efficiently and effectively receiving and dispatching stock.

As the Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor, you can expect your day-to-day tasks to include but not limited to:

  • Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to employees
  • Identify and assess potential issues that can affect deliveries.
  • Review the timeliness of scheduled deliveries.
  • Track inventory levels
  • Order new supplies promptly
  • Constantly work to improve processes
  • Make suggestions for productivity improvements
  • Optimize employee workflow
