About the role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated CNC Press Brake & Profile Cutting Operator to join our Fabrication team. This role is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of CNC press brake and profile-cutting machinery, ensuring components are manufactured to specification while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and productivity.
Key responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC press brake machinery to form components in accordance with engineering drawings and specifications.
- Operate CNC profile cutting equipment to process steel plate and fabricated components.
- Interpret engineering and workshop drawings to ensure accurate manufacture of parts.
- Select, prepare, and handle materials in line with production requirements.
- Perform nesting and re-nesting activities to maximise material utilisation and minimise waste.
- Prioritise and manage work orders to meet production schedules and delivery deadlines.
- Safely load, unload, and move materials and fabricated components using forklifts and overhead cranes.

The Role

Your Key Contributions
- Keep our systems fast, secure, and reliable through proactive monitoring, capacity planning, and performance tuning.
- Be the go-to for escalated technical issues, ensuring quick and effective solutions.
- Manage and optimise Windows Server, Active Directory, LAN/WAN, firewalls, backups, and Office 365.
- Use PowerShell scripting to automate key admin tasks - reducing manual work and boosting efficiency.
- Participate in after-hours updates and maintenance to keep systems secure and up-to-date.
- Maintain top-notch documentation and asset records.
- Provide mentoring and support to junior IT staff.
- Be available to assist with occasional after-hours maintenance and take part in a shared on-call roster to help resolve critical infrastructure issues when needed.
What You Bring
- At least 3 years’ experience in Systems/Network Administration or similar.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory; Linux skills a plus.
- Solid networking know-how (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, switching).
- Experience with VMware or Hyper-V, plus cloud exposure (especially Microsoft Azure).
- PowerShell scripting skills for automation and diagnostics.
- Understanding of security best practices (firewalls, access controls, data protection).
- Strong communication skills and a professional, customer-focused approach.
- Valid Class C driver’s licence.
Bonus Points For:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent practical experience required.
- Industry certifications (e.g. CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certifications or ITIL Foundations) are desirable.

IT Support Specialist
About the role
Reporting to the IT Manager, you will be responsible for delivering reliable helpdesk support, troubleshooting hardware, software and network issues, managing user accounts and devices, and contributing to ongoing IT projects. This role is primarily based at Wivenhoe, with travel to our Wynyard and Burnie sites as required.
Key responsibilities

Elphinstone Pty Ltd is searching for a Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor to join our growing team. The role has become vacant due to internal movements. As part of the Elphinstone Warehousing team, you will oversee the general operations of the warehouse and its staff. You will assist the team in successfully meeting safety requirements and quality levels and efficiently and effectively receiving and dispatching stock.
As the Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor, you can expect your day-to-day tasks to include but not limited to:
- Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to employees
- Identify and assess potential issues that can affect deliveries.
- Review the timeliness of scheduled deliveries.
- Track inventory levels
- Order new supplies promptly
