In 1978, Dale Elphinstone developed a range of underground hard rock support vehicles using genuine Caterpillar loader parts – The 920 Scaler and the 925 Service Unit. Between the years of 1975 and 1995, Elphinstone delivered underground hard rock mining machines to over 50 locations throughout Australia and more than 35 global export sites across 5 continents. Elphinstone continues to design and manufacture safe, reliable and innovative hard rock underground mining support equipment, commissioned and delivered to loyal and valued customers around the world.

Designed for safety and comfort, the enclosed, three-seater, climate-controlled air-conditioned cabin means everyone will want to operate an Elphinstone WR810. Spacious layout, adjustable steering column, large touch screen display and excellent 360-degree visibility make operating the WR810 safe and reliable. Ergonomic fingertip control and keypad fitted to the right-hand armrest of the operator’s seat means the operator has full control of the braking performance of the machine.

Between the years of 1975 and 1995, Elphinstone delivered underground mining machines to over 50 locations throughout Australia and more than 35 global export sites across 5 continents. Now, just 45 years later, Elphinstone continues to design and manufacture safe, reliable and innovative surface haulage solutions and underground mining support equipment, commissioned and delivered to loyal and valued customers around the world.

Ready for shipment to a valued customer in Western Australia, the Elphinstone Haulmax 3900 chassis will be fitted with a Service Module. The versatile Haulmax 3900 can be configured as a dump truck, service truck, water truck or tow tractor for a lowboy trailer. With greater tyre and braking capacity, the Haulmax 3900 is designed for extended haul distances. Featuring a proven Caterpillar powertrain with a C27 engine, the Haulmax provides excellent performance, reliability and productivity for long life and a low Total Cost of Ownership. A spacious ROPS/FOPS certified cabin, ergonomic controls, air suspension seats, access stairs, platforms and ground-level service points all provide a comfortable and safe operating environment.
