E15 machine introduction days held at Westrac NSW and QLD

Elphinstone in conjunction with Westrac NSW and QLD invited regional customers to view the new E15 Agitator and E15 Flat Deck at Hastings Deering Dubbo and Mt Isa in August.

The E15 model has been developed utilising over 45 years of underground mining experience and knowledge gained to deliver a 15-tonne platform designed to thrive in the harshest underground hard rock environments.

The key features showcased included:

• Front-mounted 3-person operator cabin, with unmatched ride comfort and handling,
  ergonomic central driving position with a clear 180-degree view.
• Increased payload capacity with heavy-duty axles, Larger 16.00R20 tyres, and Rims that are
  now common front and rear of the machine
• One common base platform across the entire model range, with a rear frame that is the same regardless of the configuration (Easily converted to another configuration)
• A hydraulic jack leg option is available for the front and rear of the machine. Front jack legs can operate with a “Park” function to allow the operator to safely exit the cabin while the engine is running.
• Intelligent electronic Machine Speed Control utilizing a 30% larger heavy-duty electromagnetic driveline retarder (*Compared to the current E10 Model – formerly WR810)
